We received our first quarterly Fry’s reward statement. Thank you to the 15 families who enrolled.  We have 60+ athletes which means most haven’t enrolled yet. It’s easy to enroll and it’s free money for our team. Thanks for supporting our Cross Country Team!

All you need to do is re-enroll each year on August 1st. Then every time you shop, our team earns $. It doesn’t cost you anything but a few minutes to re-enroll (or enroll for the 1st time if you haven’t done it in the past).
How to Re-Enroll for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program
1. Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.com
2. Click on ‘Sign-In’.
3. Enter your email and password, click on ‘sign in’.
4. Click on your name (top right hand corner), under ‘Account Summary’ scroll down to “Community Rewards”.
5. Click on ‘Edit’ under Community Rewards.
6. Under Find Your Organization: Enter 41905 or you search using Corona Cross Country.
7. Under ‘Select Your Organization’, click on the circle next to your organization.
8. Click on ‘Enroll’
If you have re-enrolled correctly, you should see a green box with ‘Your enrollment in the Community Rewards Program has been updated. Thank you for participating!’ You will also see the information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.

Tuesday, August 30th – BEFORE practice.  Please come at 5:45 pm.   We don’t want to impose on practice time.

Remember to bring your Backfit fundraiser envelope with money and any unsold cards.  The booster parents will be on hand to collect your Backfit envelopes and/or your $30 athletic contribution if you haven’t met it yet.  Remember that small fee covers you for the entire season and includes your team shirt, snacks, meets entry fees, banquet, and more.

Bring money if you want to purchase any of our merchandise – shirts for $5, decals for $5, cinch bags $10, camp chair $15, socks $10.

Do you know of a business who would be willing to sponsor our cross country team? We have several levels with benefits including business name/logo on our Nike cross meet shirt and on our meet banner with additional recognition on our website and Facebook. If you would like to order a current season team shirt, please submit your order and payment by tomorrow at practice, Friday August 19th.  All athletes will be given a shirt so you don’t need to purchase one for them.  We have kept the prices just over cost to better allow each family to buy and wear a shirt to proudly support the team at meets.  These are nice quality shirts.

Sign up for notifications using the Remind app on your phone.  When we need to let you know something right away, we will use this notification system. All messages will show up for you right away.  Just download the app on your phone and add the class room “@coronacro”.  For more info on how it works, go to www.remind.com.

Today’s practice is at 6:30 pm.  Backfit Fundraiser packets will be distributed at practice to those who are willing to participate in our fundraiser.  At Thursday’s practice we will be doing a team photo to be used for our sponsor banner.  Since the athletes don’t have uniforms yet, we ask everyone to wear an orange shirt.  A previous year cross country shirt is preferred but any orange shirt will work.

It’s now time to pay the $50 sports fee. It can only be payed in the bookstore, not on line.  Please do so before the first meet, September 3rd.

There is a school-wide fall sports meeting at 6 pm in the auditorium and then our cross country parent meeting will follow in the auditorium.  If you can’t get there at 6 pm, still come.  You won’t want to miss our team’s parent meeting.  Remember we will be learning what to expect this season and you can buy cool cross country stuff.  Especially if your son/daughter isn’t the best at relaying information to you, this is a great time to get the scoop on the season.
