There is a school-wide fall sports meeting at 6 pm in the auditorium and then our cross country parent meeting will follow in the auditorium.  If you can’t get there at 6 pm, still come.  You won’t want to miss our team’s parent meeting.  Remember we will be learning what to expect this season and you can buy cool cross country stuff.  Especially if your son/daughter isn’t the best at relaying information to you, this is a great time to get the scoop on the season.

Socks – $10 per pair

Camp Chairs – $15 each (only 4 available)

Practice is at 3 pm today instead of 6:30 pm due to the parent meeting. If you have a handheld water bottle, that’d be great to have on these hot runs. Stay hydrated!

Fall Sports Parent Meeting – Tuesday, August 16th @ 6 pm in the Auditorium.  The Cross Country parent meeting will immediately follow.  We apologize for the late notice but we have been awaiting confirmation from the front office.  We sincerely hope you can make it to the meeting.  We will be distributing important information including our schedule for the season, sharing our fundraiser plan, and we will be selling our cool cross country merchandise (shirts, string bags, chairs).  All of our shirts from last year are only $5!!  Limited supply and first come, first served basis.  We will be taking pre-orders for the current year’s shirt too.  We won’t be ordering extra shirts so if you want a shirt for the current year, you will need to prepay. We have a new design every year and you’re going to love this year’s design.

We are having a booster meeting this Wednesday, 8/10 @ 6:30 pm @ the Starbuck’s on the SE corner of Ray/Rural (not the one inside Fry’s Marketplace).  We love parent involvement and encourage you to attend.  All of our roles are filled for the board for this year so you don’t have to worry about getting roped into anything you don’t want to do.  The meetings are a great way to learn what goes on behind the scenes, meet some fellow cross country parents, and offer you an opportunity to provide your input.  You don’t need to rsvp to attend but if you can shoot an email to ChandlerAZMom@Yahoo.com, that will help us know how many copies to print.

Practice is at 5:30am at Tumbleweed Park. Meet at Playtopia playground and map is posted on the website. Be sure to hydrate and bring your water bottles! Have fun!

It’s time to enroll or renew your enrollment in the Fry’s Community Rewards Program. This is such an easy way to get free money for our Corona Cross Country team. All you need to do is re-enroll each year on August 1st. Then every time you shop, our team earns $. Doesn’t cost you anything but a few minutes to re-enroll (or enroll for the 1st time if you haven’t done it in the past).
How to Enroll for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program
1. Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.com
2. Click on ‘Sign-In’.
3. Enter your email and password, click on ‘sign in’.
4. Click on your name (top right hand corner), under ‘Account Summary’ scroll down to “Community Rewards”.
5. Click on ‘Edit’ under Community Rewards.
6. Under Find Your Organization: Enter 41905 or you search using Corona Cross Country.
7. Under ‘Select Your Organization’, click on the circle next to your organization.
8. Click on ‘Enroll’
If you have re-enrolled correctly, you should see a green box with ‘Your enrollment in the Community Rewards Program has been updated. Thank you for participating!’ You will also see the information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.
